There's a familiar face in the managers chair at Grimsby Town today after the club appointed former boss Paul Hurst.

It follows a successful spell at Blundell park previously which saw the club promoted from the national league under his stewardship.

Hurst has signed a deal until June 2023 and will being in his long term right hand man Chris Doig to be assistant.

He joins at a tough time with a takeover looking likely and the team just one place above the league 2 relegation zone.
