Today's the first anniversary of the fatal stabbing of a 9 year girl in Boston which deeply shocked the entire community.
One year on and there are still no words to adequately describe the full enormity of what happened.

We spoke to people in Boston about how the tragic events has affected them.
Parents are now very cautious

"I think at the time it was a massive thing for the whole community, you could tell that everything was quite solemn."
"It was quite a shock that anything like that had happened in Boston."
"It was bad for everybody, everyone's on tenderhooks when it's like that, you should be able to go about your own business without any trouble."
"I think for people, especially parents with children they're now very cautious."
"They're cautious about going out and maybe leaving their children where they normally would."
"I remember all the flowers - I've never seen so many on the street corners."
23 year old Deividas Skebas of Thorold Street, Boston was unanimously found to have physically committed the act of killing Lilia and has been given an indefinite hospital order
