This morning we can exclusively reveal a fight for better safety in mobile homes - by a Newark mum who lost her daughter in a caravan fire - has taken a big step forward.

"I just went on holiday. That was it... Then my life was over."

In 2021, a fire broke out on the third night that Natasha Broadley was on holiday in Ingoldmells with her four children - it killed 2 year old Louisiana.

But now, after we joined Natasha in Westminster to speak to Fire Minister and her local MP Robert Jenrick - alongside a prevention campaign, owners will be encouraged to have yearly Fire Risk Assessments, so all risks are reduced.

Natasha has shared what this means to her to get a response:

"2024 might be the year. Justice year.

"I just felt pain basically, just knowing my daughter's gone to do all this really. So yeah, it was all mixed emotions, all this way and that way, but yeah, it's more of an accomplishment."

Reading from the letter, Natasha said:

"The NFCC Home Safety Committee have basically spread messaging to the caravan owners to make sure all their gas safety certificates are all in order and I feel so much better that everybody's going to be able to fall back on something incase there isn't certificates and all that. So yeah, I'm happy with that."

Since her journey to Westminster in June, Natasha said she's not stopped spreading awareness:

"We went to London, got the justice that we got and then I've just been going on social media, Tik Tok, you name it I'll keep spreading the word. Then I got the letter back from Westminster to say they've acted on one subject that we talked about in the meeting."

Natasha is now hoping to get a call to discuss the future of her daughter's case and find out more information.
