A new St Barnabas facility officially opened this afternoon in Boston

St Barnabas Hospice's newest facility Novak House has been officially opened this afternoon in Boston by Professor Sir Jonathan Van-Tam.
The Wellbeing Hub will have various rooms for treatments, therapies and counselling. It will be open for patients in the coming months.
It will be a place where community teams will be based.
Professor Sir Jonathan Van-Tam said of the opening:
"Boston's my hometown, this is very important facility. Very much needed by the community. If I can help by opening it then I'm very happy to do so.
"It's a beacon for the patients where they know they can come and get the services that will help them in difficult and more challenging parts of their lives".
Chief Executive Officer of St Barnabas Hospice, Chris Wheway told us about the facility:
"This building has been in design and been talked about for a long time. We have been operating in Boston for many years.
"But this is us as an organisation making it very clear to the people of Boston that we think it's very important that they receive a high quality experience and service from St Barnabas Hospice.
"Patients and their families will experience high quality care in a safe place, in a kind and caring place.
"I would hope it would provide reassurance that when difficult times come that there is place they can get support".
Novak House was made possible due to Stefan Novak, whose generous legacy gift to St Barnabas helped the hospice purchase the building.
