Lincolnshire Wildlife Park's Bengal tigress Princess put to sleep
The park announced the sad news after a sudden change in Princess' behaviour

Lincolnshire Wildlife Park has announced the death of one of its Bengal Tigers.
Eight year old Princess had lived at the park since 2016 and has been described as a 'lovable character' who will be 'sorely missed'.
Keepers recently noticed changes in her behaviour and took several blood tests last week.
After the results came back they decided the most humane thing would be to put Princess to sleep.
Princess was a big star at the park and was a regular on the attraction's social media feeds.
Park CEO Steve Nichols said: “It has been a long weekend coming to terms with the outcome, Princess came to us in 2016 and has always been such a loveable character, she will be sorely missed by the keepers and wider zoo family, including our dedicated fans and visitors."
“We’ve had hundreds of messages from our visitors and each one is thoroughly appreciated”.
Lincolnshire Wildlife Park, near Boston, is home to the largest collection of tigers in Europe.
Formerly known as The Parrot Zoo, the centre is also home to more than 1,000 parrots and recently rehomed two rare male white lions.
