Virologists in Lincolnshire say we shouldn't have immediate concerns about the new South African variant.

They say it's not the main one spreading in the county.

It's after South Africa highlighted findings which suggest the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine may give limited protection against mild disease caused by the Covid 19 variant discovered there.

Dr Colin Butter from the University of Lincoln says we are already starting to see the vaccine have an impact.
