After less than a year in charge Ian Holloway has resigned as manager of Grimsby Town.
He took to twitter this morning to announce his decision.
He's been unhappy about possible takeover talks at the club and that director John Fenty was looking to sell shares.
On social media Holloway said he takes his share of the blame for results and that the decision to go was based on a number of reasons both on and off the pitch.
It's been a disappointing season so far with the Mariners currently 6 points above the relegation zone in League 2.
The club has confirmed the resignation and has thanked him for his commitment.
