Four drivers have been sentenced to a combined total of more than 30 years after causing the death of a 20-year-old-girl by dangerous driving.

They were all warned they would face long jail terms after they were all found guilty.

During the trial, jurors at Lincoln Crown Court were told Keelan Tuke aged 21 , Josh Dobb aged 21, Keigan Launder aged 23, and Riley Duncombe aged 19 drove at "simply stupid" speeds on the A16 at Utterby, Lincolnshire, and were jointly responsible for killing Denii Reynolds.

Tuke, of Grafton Street, Grimsby; Launder, of Louth Road, Grimsby; and Dobb, of Hadleigh Road, Immingham, were all jailed for eight-and-a-half years for Ms Reynolds' death, and given concurrent three-year sentences for the injuries to Ms Williams.

Duncombe, of Thesiger Walk, Grimsby, who had passed his driving test only a week beforehand and now has a young son, was sentenced to five years and eight months in a young offenders institution, with a concurrent two-year sentence for the injuries to Ms Williams.

All four will also be disqualified from driving for a further five years after their release from prison.

The court heard how Tuke, who was in the lead vehicle with Ms Reynolds as his front-seat passenger, had no memory of the crash and denied knowing whether his driving was dangerous or not.

The 21-year-old's co-defendants all blamed Tuke for causing the crash by clipping a kerb in his Citroen C1 and hitting an oncoming Vauxhall Corsa, fatally injuring Ms Reynolds and leaving its driver with serious injuries.

Dobb, 21, Launder, 23, and Duncombe, 19, all stayed at the scene of the crash and called the emergency services on the night of October 26 2021.

As well as being unanimously convicted of causing death by dangerous driving, they were also found guilty of causing serious injury to the Corsa's driver while they were driving dangerously.
