Armed officers deployed in Lincoln after report of two men carrying a machete

Armed officers were deployed in Lincoln this lunchtime after police received reports that two men were carrying a machete.
One person suffered an injury to their hand following an assault in Ripon Street and five people have been arrested.
Two men were located in the Tempest Street area and arrested on suspicion of GBH and possession of an offensive weapon.
Three other men were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs. They have been taken into custody and will be questioned in due course.
Lincolnshire Police said investigations are continuing.
