A man's suffered head injuries in Grimsby after he was reportedly punched several times by another man

It happened on Friday evening just before 8 o clock on Cartergate. The man was punched and held against a wall.

As a result of the incident, the victim was taken to hospital to receive treatment for head injuries.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident at 7:50pm on Friday 13 August on Cartergate, Grimsby. They say:

"The male in question is reported as being approximately 30 years old, white, of large build and around 6’ tall. He had short brown hair and was wearing grey joggers and an aqua green t-shirt. It is believed the male offender was in the company of another man. We are keen to talk to both men"
