A derelict building has collapsed in Holdingham due to high winds

Lincolnshire Police are at the scene of a derelict building which has collapsed due to the high winds in Lincoln Road Holdingham.

Lincolnshire Police said:

"A team from Lincolnshire County Council is in attendance and pulling it down safely. Nobody has been injured in the incident"

The road had been closed from the Holdingham Roundabout to McDonalds, but has since reopened.

It's as Lincolnshire and Newark remain under an amber wind warning.

Lincolnshire Police say they've have taken more 999 calls in two hours this afternoon than the did in the 12 hours before

It's due to the impact of Storm Eunice in the county

There have been falling trees and high sided vehicles blown over as the winds gathered strength.

In other storm related news, the PRSA Boston vaccination centre has suffered storm damage and as well as closing early today will now be shut until at least Monday - while the Lincolnshire showground has now closed due to weather.

The Humber Bridge remains closed this evening until further notice.
