12 year old boy dies in car crash at Bardney

It took place on the B1190 yesterday

A 12 year old boy's died in a collision between 2 cars at Bardney.

Emergency services were called to the crash on the B1190 just before ten o clock yesterday morning.

The boy who was a passenger died at the scene.

One of the drivers was taken to hospital but his injuries aren't thought to be serious.

The collision involved two vehicles: a silver Mercedes-Benz A220 and a silver Ford Galaxy

Roads in the area were closed off and weren't reopened until around 6pm.

Police are hoping some drivers in the area may have dash cam footage of what happened.

They've released a statement appealing for witnesses:
