Oasis fans have raced to grab tickets for the band's reunion, fifteen years after they broke up.

The 90s band, responsible for hits such as Don't Look Back in Anger, Champagne Supernova and She's Electric, announced on Tuesday (August 27th) that they would be getting back together for a number of performances next year.

Tickets have been in high demand as millions of people registered their interest in attending the shows in London, Dublin, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Manchester.

Pre-sale tickets went on sale on Friday night (August 30th), with the remaining general sale tickets being made available from 9am on Saturday morning (August 31st).

However, many fans have experienced issues in getting tickets due to booking websites crashing because of demand.

Manchester-based promoter SJM Concerts' website Gigs and Tours have been frozen, leaving fans unable to join queues to get tickets since 8:10am.

On the website, the page reads: "Please bear with us. At the moment there are a lot of people on the site looking for tickets, so we have put a queuing system in place, which is completely normal.

"This page will refresh automatically and we'll get you where you want to be as soon as a space opens up. Thank you for your patience!"

Oasis themselves have also warned against fans using secondary ticket websites to get their admission to the gigs.

In a post on their social media, the band said: "Please note, Oasis Live '25 tickets can only be resold at face value via @Ticketmaster and @Twickets!

"Tickets appearing on other secondary ticketing sites are either counterfeit or will be cancelled by the promoters."

Earlier on Friday, the band appealed to fans to only buy tickets through official channels and not to rely on tout websites charging thousands for pre-sale passes.
