Woman and girl seriously injured after Carlisle incident
A man's also in hospital with a stab wound

A woman and girl have been taken to hospital with serious injuries after an incident in Carlisle.
Emergency Services are at the scene in Whernside - after getting a report just after 8am this morning, of a man in his 50s with stab wounds.
He's also been taken to hospital - and is in a stable condition.
The woman, who's in her 50s and the girl were taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary for treatment.
Police say there's no wider threat to the public, but are asking people to avoid the area for now, whilst officers conduct their investigations.
