The Duke and Duchess of Sussex release new photos of daughter Lilibet to mark her first birthday

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have released some new photos to celebrate the first birthday of their daughter Lilibet, named after her great-grandmother, who celebrated 70 years on the throne over the Platinum Jubilee weekend.
The photos, taken by photographer Misan Harriman, were taken at her birthday party held at the couple's Windsor home, Frogmore Cottage. The first photo shows Lilibet wearing a gorgeous pale blue dress, with a hairband, with a cream ribbon.
Further photos of the little girl were shared on the photographer's own Twitter account, with Misan saying: 'It was such a privilege to celebrate the 1st birthday of Lilibet with my family and hers! Joy and face painting all around ❤️🎂🎉'.
Alongside the photo of Lilibet, he shared a black and white photo of his own wife and children, next to Meghan and Lilibet, with a third photo featuring himself with one of his daughters.
It's understood that Claire Ptak, who baked the couple's wedding cake, made a special birthday cake for Lilibet, and close friends and family attended the "casual, intimate" celebration.
Last year, Prince Harry and Meghan shared the first photo of Lilibet, whose full name is Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor. The photo, released for the family's Christmas card was the first time Lilibet was introduced to the world, after welcoming her on Friday 4th June 2021.
Lilibet is the couple's second child together, after Meghan gave birth to their son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor on 6th May in 2019.
