People are being allowed back to their homes after they were evacuated in Derby following a bomb scare yesterday (04th Dec).

The cordon on Vulcan Road has been lifted.

Police say officers will remain outside the property tonight, where the warrant was conducted on Thursday (04th Dec).

The two men arrested remain in police custody whilst investigations continue.

Police say from 8 o'clock tomorrow morning, the Singh Sabha Gurdwara on Princes Street will be a new point of contact for residents.

Superintendent Becky Webster said: “Thank you to everyone that has been evacuated from their homes, we realise that this has been inconvenient and we appreciate people’s patience and cooperation.”
