Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne to reunite for 'final show' at Villa Park

Rock legends Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne will be reunited for the first time in 20 years for a 'final show' at Villa Park in Birmingham.
The performance was announced today (5 February) by Ozzy's wife Sharon Osbourne and Black Sabbath co-founder Tony Iommi.
The show on 5 July 2025 will feature the original band line-up: Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward.
Ozzy Osbourne is also expected to perform his own short set before joining with Black Sabbath for his final bow.
Black Sabbath were formed in Birmingham in 1968, going on to sell over 75 million albums worldwide.
"Birmingham Forever"
Ozzy Osbourne said he was pleased his last show was taking place in Birmingham:
"It’s my time to go Back to the Beginning….time for me to give back to the place where I was born.
"How blessed am I to do it with the help of people whom I love. Birmingham is the true home of metal. Birmingham Forever."
How do I get tickets to see Black Sabbath?
Tickets will go on sale at 10am GMT on Friday, 14 February.
Profits from ticket sales will go to: Cure Parkinson's, Birmingham Children's Hospital and Acorn Children's Hospice, which is supported by Aston Villa.
Who else will perform at Black Sabbath's final show?
The event will last the entire day with sets expected from: Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Halestorm, Alice In Chains, Lamb Of God, Anthrax and Mastodon.
Other artists announced so far include Billy Corgan (The Smashing Pumpkins), David Draiman (Disturbed), Duff McKagan & Slash (Guns ‘n Roses), Frank Bello (Anthrax), and Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit).
