Marvin Humes joined the KISS fam earlier this year, and it's safe to say we've never looked back! Bringing us some of the freshest tunes out there, you can catch Marvin on the KISS airwaves every weekday - with everything you need to know about his shows below...

From what vibes we can expect from his show, to his favourite KISS moments so far and even his dream celeb co-host - get to know Marvin a little bit better with our handy Q&A! On top of that, you can find out everything you need to know about how to listen to him on KISS and KISSTORY.

What vibes are you bringing to your show?

Marvin told us: "The biggest Old Skool &Anthems – everyday! We’re bringing 90s, 00s, 10s, R&B, hip hop, Dance, House, Garage, DnB - the lot! It’s banging!"

What’s your fave thing about your show?

A huge KISS stan, Marv responded: "Before I even joined KISS, my DJ sets are KISSTORY sets and it’s great that I’m now on air and able to play those tunes on the radio every day, it's not even like work! I love it!"

And we love it too, Marvin!

How did it all start for you?

"I’ve been DJing since I was 13, 14 – my dad is a DJ so I’ve got my music love and passion from him, and him to thank.

"I’ve been working in radio for 10 years, KISSTORY is a show I’ve dreamed of hosting and being a part of – I’ve been a fan for as long as I can remember so this is a dream come true to be hosting the iconic KISSTORY show!"

What is one track that never gets old for you no matter how many times you hear it?

Marvin told us it's Armand Van Helden's track 'You Don’t Know Me' - saying: "To this day I still play it and it still sounds so fresh, it’s a Top 5 house track of all time."

LISTEN: Armand Van Helden 'You Don’t Know Me':

What single moment stands out for you at KISS?

Marvin told us about the time his wife, Rochelle, surprised him in the studio: "Rochelle came in and surprised me, and also announced I was going to be DJing at KISSTORY events all summer, especially KISSTORY on Blackheath as it was my anniversary and being born in Greenwich, South London it’s a mad full circle moment!

"There’s also a photo of me, my dad and brother where my dad is wearing a vintage KISS hat, so KISS really has been in the family for many years, so being here is amazing!"

If you could co-host with one celebrity in the world, who would it be?

"Sean Paul! I was lucky to meet him a couple of times and he lived up to every expectation – he’s just got bangers, and he’s still so relevant and not looked at as an older artist. Reggae music is timeless and you could fill a whole night of Sean Paul bangers!"

We couldn't agree more Marvin - so why not check out some of Sean Paul's biggest and best collaborations!

What’s your perfect night in or out?

Marvin offered up both his perfect night in, AND his perfect night out...

"In – home with Rochelle, catching up on Netflix with some wine and a curry!

"Out – I’m into brunches! Brunch vibes are great – you’re home by 9pm! "

If you could be eternally stuck in one music era, which would it be - and why?

It was a no brainer for Marvin, with him answering: "90s – no genre hits more than 90s R&B - if it doesn’t sound like 90s R&B I don’t want it!"

Who would play you in a movie about your life?

"I used to get mistaken for Theo Walcott the ex-arsenal player, so much so that I was shopping in town and this lady behind the counter was like I’m such a big fan I came to watch you last night, the goal you scored was incredible!

"She asked me for an autograph and I signed it as Theo Walcott!"
