Stars of Bikeriders, Jodie Comer and Austin Butler, joined Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely on KISS Breakfast to talk about their brand new film. Along with chatting about Bikeriders, they also spoke about some rather unusual things such as their favourite picnic food, nicknames and the insults that Perri throws at Jordan's one-year-old. 👀

Bikeriders is a film inspired by a true story. Jodie plays the role of Kathy Bauer, who meets Benny Cross (Austin Butler), a member of Vandals Motorcycle Club, and marries him just five weeks later.

A few years later, Benny's attacked in a bar for wearing his 'colours' and despite Kathy's objection, while Benny is recovering from his injuries, he's pressurised by the club's leader to come to a motorcycle rally.

In the film, the biker meet-ups are called 'picnics', but despite their cute sounding them, they're anything but. However, during their chat with the stars of the film, Jordan and Perri wanted to know about their 'go tos' for a picnic, to which Jodie immediately said: "This is a serious question, I think sausage roll."

When Perri then asked about her thoughts on a scotch egg, she responded: "With a bit of HP (sauce)."

However, the mention of a scotch egg left Austin very confused, asking: "For someone who's never tried a scotch egg, how would you describe a scotch egg to me?"

Jordan and Perri then went into a long and detailed description of what one is, to which Austin couldn't believe his ears.

During the interview, the topic of conversation changed to their potential nicknames. In the film, one of the Vandals is called Cockroach, so the boys wanted to know what Jodie and Austin would call themselves in a real biker gang.

Jodie admitted: "I feel like you have to earn a nickname guys, you've got to earn those strips."

But it wasn't long before Austin suggested Scouse, a perfect nickname for Jodie as she's from Liverpool. When it came to Austin, Perri suggested Scotch Egg, with Jodie shortening it to Scotchy, joking they could be called "Scotchy and Scouse".

Just as the interview was drawing to a close, Jordan went totally off script saying: "Can I actually get some advice from you on something. Obviously we have a national radio show, Perri's meant to be my best friend, I've shown him obscene loyalty over the years..."

Jordan went on to explain how Perri insults his kids on national radio. On hearing this, Jodie told him: "Can I just say one thing? He might have got it off you." 🙈

When Jordan explained, Perri calls his one-year-old son "massive", Perri told the pair: "He's got a GIANT baby! He's got a giant one-year-old."
