The Prince’s Trust believes that every young person should have the chance to embrace exciting opportunities, so they help 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to transform their lives; helping to get them into jobs, education and training.

The Trust’s programmes help young people get the skills and confidence they need to get their lives on track and last year the charity helped empower over 60,000 people turn their lives around.

KISS has partnered up with The Prince's Trust and TK Maxx & Homesense Awards and is pleased to announce that Cleo Johnson has been named the National HSBC UK Breakthrough Award Winner 2021. This award recognises the progress of young people in overcoming barriers and developing new skills.

Cleo's Story

Before coming to The Prince's Trust, Cleo was living in a hostel and her mental health wasn’t in a good place.

A youth worker introduced her to The Prince’s Trust where she took part in 'Get Started with Cooking', followed by the 'Explore' programme.

Enrolling on these programmes helped Cleo learn life skills as well as personal development. Her confidence and mental health is in a much better place and she is now studying for her qualifications and looking forward to the future.
