You series 3 release date confirmed by Netflix
Finally we have a date!
It's been a long time coming thanks to the Coronavirus pandemic, but Netflix have finally confirmed when the hugely-anticipated third series of hit show You will land.
The psychological thriller, which features actor Penn Badgley as serial killer Joe Goldberg, will be available to stream from 15th October 2021.
Of course, if you've already seen the first two series you'll be aware of that MASSIVE cliff-hanger during the last episode, which seemed to hint that Joe could be up to his old tricks, spying on his new neighbour.
Although his girlfriend Love Quinn is pregnant with the couple's first child, you'll be a fool to think the show is going to go down a softer route, especially as we now know Love has her own dark past and demons.
Back in November 2020, following a number of months off due to the pandemic, bosses confirmed You was back in production.
Netflix shared a photo of the lead actor wearing a face mask that reads, 'Hello You', with the caption, 'We recommend you stay at least 6 feet from Joe Goldberg at all times. YOU Season 3 is back in production.'
In April 2021, bosses then revealed filming had wrapped for series three, writing on social media: 'don’t worry we have eyes on joe at all times. happy S3 wrap 🧢' (sic). The black and white image showed Penn Badgley, who plays the infamous Joe Goldberg, sitting in a chair on set marked 'STALKER'.

Since series 2 aired back in December 2019, fans have devised a number of theories about what could happening in the upcoming series, including many thinking the unknown neighbour could actually be Joe's mum.
In the chilling final scene during series 2, Joe narrates, "This is just the beginning, because this is where I had to be. Exactly where I had to be to meet you. There you were with your books and your sunshine. So close, but worlds away. I will figure out a way, a way to get to you. See you soon, neighbour."
However, despite the wild theory being very believable, lead actor Penn has revealed the woman is definitely not his mum. Speaking to Bustle, the former Gossip Girl actor said, "She’s definitely not his mom. I can say that."
Series 1 and 2 of You are available to watch on Netflix now.
