She's one of the most talented professionals on Dancing On Ice, making it to the final in 2019 with former Love Island star Wes Nelson, but KISS presenter Perri Kiely's partner Vanessa Bauer has proved that even the professionals have some spectacular falls on the ice.
Vanessa, who is teaching our Perri some skills on the ice, posted a video of herself on Instagram, showing a horrific fall which made her feel like she'd 'broken her face'. The 23-year-old starts well, performing cartwheels and endless spins on the ice, before she trips up and smashes head first into the side barriers.
Sharing the moment with fans, Vanessa wrote, 'THAT just happened 😳🚨🤣 I literally thought I broke my face 🤕😭🤣 It started off so well lol,.. good thing I know how to stop, not 😭😂 At least @theicecapture caught it so you’re welcome guys 🤣'. sic
A number of Vanessa's celebrity friends were quick to comment on the video. Wes Nelson wrote, 'Jesussss 🤦🏾♂️ hope you’re okay 🤦🏾♂️', with 2019 contestant Brian McFadden adding, 'Jesus!!!!!!! Are you ok? X'. sic
Fellow pro Brendyn Hatfield then wrote, 'OMG! Glad you’re able to laugh about it and glad you’re okay!' sic
Vanessa later took to her Instagram Story to reveal the full extent of her injuries after the shocking fall, revealing she's injured the side of her face. Sharing a video of herself with an ice-pack on her cheek, Vanessa wrote, 'Fell straight on my face'.
Luckily for Vanessa, it looks like the professional skater doesn't have any serious injuries, which is remarkable given the extent of her fall.
Meanwhile, Vanessa and Perri impressed the ice panel last Sunday night, topping the leaderboard with a score of 27.5. Skating to Robbie Williams' track 'Putting On The Ritz', Perri showed off his Diversity dancing skills.

Diversity dancer Perri Kiely reunited with his dance-mate Ashely Banjo for Dancing On Ice 2020! He said, "I'm not going to lie, I'm a little bit nervous. I've had a couple of training sessions so far and I'm not going to lie, it's hard. I can stand up on ice and skate about a bit, but technique, it's difficult!"
Of normally being the one to get thrown into the air, Perri said, "Role reversal! I'm pretty sure my job title was to get thrown about. I would love to back flip on ice, imagine how sick that would be! But I said I was going to get on the ice and spin and flip and do this, but I turned up to that first training session and I just wanted to put one foot in front of the other and make sure I don't fall over."

Paralympic sprinter Libby Clegg was the eighth confirmed contestant on Dancing On Ice! Confirming the news on Victoria Derbyshire, she said, "After Rio I achieved my ultimate goal and then I thought 'what else can I do?' This opportunity came about and I couldn't pass it up. I love challenging myself and experiencing new things."

Former soap star and King of the Jungle Joe Swash was the ninth celeb to be announced for Dancing On Ice! Confirming the news on Loose Women, Joe said, "I can't even dance on a dance floor so Dancing on Ice is just a silly idea! I've done no exercise since the baby was born. Stacey thinks it's funny. I'm going to learn how to skate and I'll do it with a smile on my face."
