Let’s raise awareness of sexist abuse within Women’s football - Her Game Too

Even with football becoming the fastest growing women’s sport in the world, females are still experiencing sexist abuse including, sexual harassment, banter/jokes and bullying every day.

In a ‘Women In Football’ survey 70% of females have personally experienced sexism just for playing football. With one respondent quoting “As the women’s game gets bigger, the level of harassment rises too”.

2021 saw the beginning of a partnership with the ‘Her Game Too’ campaign – an organisation run by female football fans combating sexism within football. Working hard to raise awareness, to educate and create a safer environment for women and girls. Their important message is being backed by clubs all over the country from grassroots to Premier & Super League.

Former Arsenal player Alex Scott has recently released her new BBC documentary on the important subject: The Future of Women's Football.

Alex Scott - Women's FA Cup Final

"I want people - boys and girls - to be sat at home watching me alongside the likes of Rio Ferdinand or Frank Lampard, thinking that it's normal, that we all know what we're talking about, and that they're not judging me at home just because I'm a female." - Alex Scott

Find out how you can get involved and become a brand ambassador to fight against sexism in women’s football with Her Game Too.
