Although it only feels like yesterday we were pulling the Christmas tree down, the summer holidays are somehow nearly upon us, which means popular This Morning hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield are preparing for their annual summer leave.

Just like past years, Holly and Phillip will be absent from the summer series of the ITV Daytime show, and will be replaced by a whole host of big names.

ITV bosses have now revealed not one, not two, but 10 presenters who will sit in for the usual faces, including Friday hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary.

When do Holly and Phillip leave This Morning for the summer?

Holly and Phillip's last day presenting This Morning before their annual summer break was on Thursday 7th July.

Who will host This Morning during the summer?

The loveable Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary will host the first two weeks, from Monday 11th July.

For the rest of the summer, there will be a mix of on-screen partnerships including Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle, Rochelle Humes and Andi Peters, Josie Gibson and Vernon Kay, Rochelle Humes and Craig Doyle, Mollie King and Craig Doyle, and finally Ruth Langsford and Rylan Clark.

Then, for the final few weeks, Rochelle Humes and Vernon Kay will team up to take the reigns.

This Morning’s editor, Martin Frizell, said: “I’m delighted that This Morning will continue to air throughout the summer weeks with such a varied and talented mix of hosts that I know viewers adore. Each partnership will bring something new and exciting to entertain viewers each morning across the nation no matter what the weather will be like outside this summer!”

When will Holly and Phillip return to This Morning?

Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield will resume their presenting roles on This Morning on Monday 5th September.
