Love Island's Molly-Mae Hague responds to rumours she's 'in therapy'
Molly-Mae has received death threats since leaving the villa
After receiving a tonne of online abuse when she left the Love Island villa with Tommy Fury, it was being reported that Molly-Mae Hague was in therapy after struggling to deal with the hate.
However, in an interview with OK! Magazine, Molly-Mae has shut down the reports, admitting she's just been having the same after-care as the rest of the Islanders.
Speaking to the publication, Molly-Mae said, “I’ve been having the same post-Love Island after-care as everyone else.
“I’ve taken the support that ITV provided and it’s helped. People keep sending messages like: ‘Pray for Molly-Mae, I hope she’s okay,’ but I’m literally sat here loving my life. I’m so happy, nothing can burst my bubble; what the public think is irrelevant."
The model also spoke about the hate messages she's received, admitting she's received death threats since leaving the villa.
She added, “To be called fake and all these horrible names like ‘Money-Mae’ when I haven’t actually done anything wrong was a shock. It is hard to hear. I did read the negative comments at the start but then I had to stop; I think it’s best not to."
It comes after Molly-Mae and Tommy appeared on This Morning last week, slamming rumours that their romance is fake.
Tommy told the show, "When you’re in the public eye, everybody like Molly says, is going to have an opinion. But the only opinions that matters are who’s in the relationship, and the families. As long as you feel good and know what’s going on, that’s all that matters."
It's been a whirlwind few weeks for the loved-up pair, after finishing the show in second place behind Greg O'Shea and Amber Gill, Molly-Mae was left unhappy when Anton Danyluk unfollowed her, admitting on the Love Island reunion show that he didn't see her as a friend.
