This year's Love Island has gone from one of the most dull to one of the most dramatic series in just a few days, with the arrival of the 12 new Islanders who have caused an almighty stir among the original stars in The Villa and Casa Amor.

After last night's drama-filled episode, which saw the girls receive an update about what the boys have been up to during their time at Casa Amor, poor old Dani Dyer was left having a meltdown after she learnt the news that her boyfriend, Jack Fincham, had been joined in the new villa by his ex-girlfriend Ellie.

As Georgia received a text with a video showing Jack's reaction to Ellie's arrival, Dani burst into tears and immediately thought the worst for her blossoming relationship. Speaking in the Beach Hut, Dani said, "I knew it was too good to be true", as tears streamed down her face.

And after seeing how upset Dani was, viewers of the show took to Twitter to vent their anger at the show's producers, with many complaining to Ofcom, accusing Love Island bosses of 'emotional cruelty'.

But of course, unbeknown to Dani, Jack has stayed loyal to his girlfriend during his time in Casa Amor and has even been sleeping on the outdoor bed so he didn't have to share a bed with one of the new girls.

After admitting how much he misses Dani on a daily basis to the other boys, the pen salesmen even confessed his love for Danny Dyer's daughter.

Meanwhile, the two villas are set to reunite on tonight's' show, with the most dramatic recoupling yet set to take place.

The girls in the original villa will be given the chance to either couple up with one of the new boys, or stick with their original couples, hoping their boys don't come back with one of the new girls!
