After a celebrity edition in 2005 and 2006, Love Island returned to ITV2 in 2015, but this time it would involve 'normal' people and not celebrities. The first series of Love Island saw the likes of Cally Jane Beech, Jon Clark and Luis Morrison all appear.
After the success, Love Island was again renewed for a second series, with the nation falling in love with the likes of Nathan Massey and Cara de la Hoyde, Alex Bowen and Olivia Buckland, and Scott Thomas and Kady McDermott. But it was perhaps the third series in 2017 that really got people talking, Love Island fever swept the nation, with Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies winning the £50,000 prize money.
