It's been a long wait (two years to be precise), but the fourth and final series of hit drama series Killing Eve has finally hit our screens!

After confirming the popular show, which features Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh, would air on BBC America on Sunday 27th February, bosses later revealed UK fans will be able to see the new series just one day later on Monday 28th February.

Episode one will air at 9pm on the 28th, with episodes also available on the BBC iPlayer now.

Earlier this month, Killing Eve bosses released an explosive two-minute long trailer titled 'The Final Obsession is here'.

Featuring characters Villanelle, Eve and Carolyn, the new trailer shows the cat and mouse chase is back on between the pair, despite making a pact at the end of series three that they'd walk away from each other.

It looks like revenge is also on the cards for Carolyn, who seeks revenge on The Twelve for the killing of her son Kenny.

Bosses have also amped up excitement by releasing a number of first looks photos from series four.

The hugely-antipcated fourth series of Killing Eve will be the last, with filming actually first starting way back in 2020.

However, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, which saw production come to a halt on a lot of shows, Killing Eve filming didn't resume until Summer 2021, creating serious delays.

Main star of the show Jodie Comer caught up with our Entertainment Team last year, revealing bosses are 'really pushing boundaries' in the final series.

Jodie told us: "I really wanted to go out with a bang. She really deserves that. What I will say about the show is they're really kind of pushing boundaries and trying new formulas, especially for Villanelle which is a good thing in a way, knowing it's the end because it's like, 'Right, let's go for it'. They're definitely daring to make a few choices."
