Since Love Island landed back on our TV screens back in 2015, Scottish comedian Iain Stirling has graced us with some hilarious and damn right savage commentary over the last four series, but it looks like things could be about to change.

Iain, who is gearing up for season five just like the rest of the nation, appeared on Sunday Brunch yesterday (12th May), where he revealed bosses of the show have BANNED him from going too far with his jokes.

The 31-year-old said, "Some of them they let us do - and some they say, 'You obviously can't say that.'"

But it turns out Iain and his friend Mark, who he writes the commentary with, have a master plan to get some of the 'rude' jokes into the show.

He revealed, "We get some Scottish phrases in. London TV execs are like, 'Oh, what a quaint phrase.' I'm like, 'That doesn't mean that.'"

He explained, "I write it with a guy called Mark, who is also Scottish. Me and him spend two month trying to not get sunburned and looking at people and being sarcastic about them. It's really great fun.

"I go in about 2pm, watch what is basically the final episode, then we just write some jokes."
