Emma D'Arcy reveals the embarrassing moment they had when filming House of The Dragon 🤣
Episodes of the new season are dropping each week
The second season of the Game of Thrones spin-off House of The Dragon has arrived, with a new episode arriving each week on Sky and NOW.
Here at KISS we were joined by two of the stars Emma D'Arcy who plays Rhaenyra Targaryen, and Olivia Cooke, who plays Alicent Hightower, and they told us about some embarrassing moments.
For five weeks the show filmed in Wales, and Emma admitted they didn't realise why there were so many dragons in Wales. 🏴
Emma told us: "You know what's funny? We shot in Wales for five weeks and it was amazing, but there are obviously lots of dragons in people's gardens and stuff, and for at least like five days I thought it was because the show was shooting there, and I thought, how does everyone even know this? And like, I suppose, I guess, wow the show really is you know...
"Yeah, it took like a week to remember that... (the) Welsh flag (has a dragon on it)!"
Emma's co-star Olivia then explained that she had an embarrassing moment in Paris, when she was attending the premiere for the show.
When she arrived at the hotel from the airport, she saw a big stadium being built. Thinking it was for the show she thought: "Oh my god, how embarrassing," but it was actually being built for the Olympics, due to take place later this year in the city.
Olivia joked with us saying: "This is how indoctrinated we are!" 😂
New episodes of the popular TV show are dropping each week, with the third episode set to arrive on Monday 1st July. House of The Dragon has also now been renewed for a third season, so fans can expect to see more from the franchise author George R.R. Martin.
