Not happy with his Game of Thrones cameo, Ed Sheeran has got another appearance on a major TV show lined up.

The singer is set to appear on The Simpsons! Ed will appear in an episode called ‘Haw-Haw Land’ which is loosely based on the film La La Land. Ed will voice character Brendan, a musician who has a romance with Lisa.

Posting about his upcoming cameo, Ed shared a screenshot showing what his Simpsons character will look like with the caption ‘this year continues to be equally surreal and amazing. Watch out for this one, me and Lisa have a whole thing going on x’

The episode is set to air in October when the 29th series of The Simpsons begins. The show’s Executive Producer Al Jean told Entertainment Weekly that Ed recorded his lines down the phone from the UK, and he will sing in the episode.

Ed’s cameo in fantasy TV series Game of Thrones aired yesterday in the UK, however it didn’t go down well with fans of the show.

Ed stars in a scene with Maisie William’s character Arya Stark, Ed is seen sitting with a group of soldiers playing on guitar and singing. Arya rides past the group on a horse and remarks “It’s a pretty song, I’ve never heard it before” to which Ed replies “It’s a new one”.

Viewers of the show were quick to take to Twitter to express their feelings about the scene… and they weren't too impressed by it..
