Dr Alex George has only been in the Love Island villa for two days, but already he's been dubbed the 'new Camilla' by viewers, due to his down-to-earth personality. Despite viewers at home seemingly loving the A&E doctor, Alex has hasn't the best start to finding love.

In Love Island's first coupling, none of the girls stood forward for Alex, so he decided to pair up with air-hostess Laura. However, when Wes arrived, Laura stepped forward, with Alex being put on the 'subs bench'. He was then paired with Samira, but the West End performer seems to have no interest to get to know Alex.

As if this wasn't bad enough, during last night's challenge, which involved the Islanders having to kiss each other, Hayley pulled away and refused to kiss him, leaving his confidence at rock bottom.

In a conversation with Niall and Adam later in the show, Alex revealed that he's 'almost had enough'. He said, "I feel like 'what is wrong with me?' Have I got a black mark or something?"

Whilst Niall and Adam tried their best to keep Alex's confidence up, the doctor seemed very down in the dumps, leaving viewers at home feeling very sorry for him...

Even last year's winner Amber Davies tweeted she'd like to go on a date with Alex. Replying to a fan's tweet, she wrote, 'Get me in that Villa I’ll take Alex on a date'.

However, it might not be all bad news for Alex, as two brand new girls are due to enter the villa.

Viewers were given the chance to vote for which two boys they would like to go on a date with newbies, 20-year-old student Georgia Steel and 26-year-old solicitor Rosie Williams. And if the reaction on Twitter is anything to go by, Alex may have bagged himself a date!

The results of the voting is expected to be revealed on tonight's episode, where fans will also see the drama between Kendall, Adam and Niall.
