The cast of Dancing On Ice 2020 wow the audience with their routines at launch party
It's going to be amazing!
The next series of Dancing On Ice is coming around pretty quickly! After the line-up was announced in September, fans of the show have been waiting patiently for January 2020 when the 12 celebrities will take to the ice to compete against each other for the skating crown.
Jayne Torvill OBE and Christopher Dean OBE will be returning to the show on the judging panel along with Diversity dancer Ashley Banjo from last year as well as John Barrowman MBE, who has replaced long-standing member Jason Gardiner.
Yesterday (Mon 9th Dec) saw the launch of Dancing On Ice 2020, with hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield joining the cast and judging panel at the Bovingdon Airfield in Hertfordshire.
Each of the celebrities performed a short routine with their partner, meaning it's the first time they've performed together - including H from Steps, who is the first person in Dancing On Ice history to be in a same-sex couple, as he's dancing with Matt Evers.
Taking to Twitter, H confirmed the happy news, writing, 'IT’S OFFICIAL! Matt & I will be the first same sex ice partnership ! It’s been an emotional day talking about something that is so personal and means so much to us and to so many people. It’s about time!'
