Zayn Malik has announced that he’s signed a solo deal.
The former One Direction star shared a smiling photograph of himself signing papers and told fans that he left the group to show everyone who he really is.
He has already been congratulated on the news by former boss, Simon Cowell who has said the new label is a great fit for the singer.
Malik has reportedly been in the studio with producer Malay, who has previously worked with Frank Ocean, John Legend and more, so we’re already thinking his solo material may have more of an R&B edge.
He has also been pictured out with Kanye West and even 50 Cent has offered to mentor him! It was also widely known that Zayn had been working with Naughty Boy, before a really public falling out, where he called the producer a ‘fat joke’.
