Last updated 9th Feb 2018
Earlier this week Marshmello & Anne-Marie teased a brand new song would drop today (Friday 9th February).
Marshmello announced the new track on Twitter saying, '#FRIENDS. Friday @AnneMarieIAm', with a photo of the pair in front of a large red, 'X' and 'O' with hearts in the centre. 'FRIENDS' is already being played all day on KISS.
A couple of days later Anne-Marie then tweeted a short clip of the song.
As the time for release drew near the American DJ then posted a short clip from their lyric video. As the words go, "I’ve told you 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 thousand times,"
"Haven’t I made it obvious? Haven’t I made it clear?"
"Want me to spell it out for you? F-R-I-E-N-D-S."
Clearly not a love song!

Just as the most loved-up day of the year, Valentine's Day, is just around the corner is seems that Marshmello & Anne-Marie are siding with those who just want to be friends!

WARNING: THE VIDEO CONTAINS SOME STRONG LANGUAGE
'FRIENDS' is the third collaboration from the DJ who made a name for himself after remixing songs from Jack Ü and Zedd.
Last year Marshmello had two huge collaborations, 'Silence' with Khalid and 'Wolves' with Selena Gomez, both of which reached the top 10 in the UK.
Meanwhile Anne-Marie has seen great success with her single 'Ciao Adios' which was the follow-up to her solo single 'Alarm' and the Clean Bandit song 'Rockabye' which featured her vocals. 'Ciao Adios' was Anne-Marie's first solo number one in the UK.
