The official video for Shift K3Y's new single Name and Number has premiered online. It's all about the selfies, social media posts, video calls and parties in the visual for the follow up to his previous hits I Know and Touch. "I started the track two years ago, around the same time I made my debut single, in my humble bedroom studio with a talented writer called Kingsley Brown. I constantly watch guys treat their girls with little to no respect, Name & Number stems from those emotions" he explained.
During a recent visit to KISS, Shift K3Y spoke a bit more about the thinking behind the song's lyrics: "Sometimes I think people are in relationships for, not necessarily the right reasons…I just think it's an issue that needs to be talked about" He also spoke to us about working with Tinie Tempah, saying "he's genuinely the hardest working artist I've ever met".
