Sam Smith has canceled the rest of his tour of Australian tour after suffering a haemorrhage on his vocal chords. Announcing the news on Instagram, Smith apologised to fans and explained that he had actually been 'vocally exhausted' for some time and was advised by doctors to rest his voice.

Smith had four shows let on the Australian leg of his In The Lonely Hour Tour, having already performed in Auckland, Brisbane and Sydney. He told fans that dates would be rearranged for some time in December.
