No stranger to releasing controversial music videos, Rihanna has upped the ante with her a gory and graphic new vid for ‘B** Better Have My Money.’ **
Unveiled at midnight, the epic seven-minute video opens ominously with a viewer discretion warning for ‘language, nudity and violence.’
Rihanna stars as a kidnapper in the video who ensnares a wealthy woman and her pet dog in an elevator and hides them in a trunk.
As she demands the money from Hannibal actor Mads Mikkelsen, who plays her accountant, RiRi lives the high life while the poor victim is swung from a rope, dunked in a pool and hauled about California in the boot of a car.
Typically the video ends with a very gory and controversial climax.
Introducing the video, Rihanna told her Instagram followers: "Ya girl got director skillz!!! The concept for this piece came to me 8 months ago!!! So you can imagine how anxious I am right now!!!"
