Huge congratulations are in order to Gordon Mac, the founder of this radio station - KISS FM UK! Gordon will receive a highly-coveted stone on the Music Walk of Fame on Camden High Street, London on 5th September in recognition of his work in the industry.

Stones on The Music Walk of Fame honour artists and trailblazers from around the globe, of all genres and ages.

Gordon founded KISS FM UK back in 1985 as a pirate radio station, which initially just broadcast to the South of London, later expanding to the whole city, as KISS 100 London, launching to a wider audience in 1990.

Gordon will get to unveil his stone on the Music Walk of Fame on Camden High Street on 5th September, as part of a week of unveilings, with other recipients this year including: Janis Joplin, Harvey Goldsmith CBE, UB40, Paul 'Trouble' Anderson, The Kinks, The Sugarhill Gang, Eddy Grant, Buzzcocks, Billy Bragg, and Shalamar.

On the final day of stone unveilings (9th September), the first Camden Music Festival will be launched, where the famous High Street will host free entertainment and music.
