MNEK has released a brand new single called Never Forget You and we love it!
Co-written with both 17 year old Swedish singer Zara Larsson and UK Producer/Songwriter Astronomyy, ‘Never Forget You’ also features vocals from Larsson.
In MNEK’s own words the garage-tinged Never Forget You is about someone staying in your heart and mind forever and basically saying time will never heal the pain of losing them. It could be your friend, your partner, your family member, anyone. Zara, Astronomyy and myself wrote this song earlier this year in LA and it's one of my favourite things I've ever sung on. Zara's an absolute star, and I really love collaborating with her.”
The video for Never Forget You was shot in Iceland and reportedly tells the story of how a young girl and her friendship with a mysterious creature unfolds over a lifetime. The visual is due out by the end of this month.
