Marshmello teases a brand new collaboration with a British band

Marshmello is a DJ who has had a lot of success recently, he's had collaborations with the fantastic Selena Gomez with 'Wolves', British singer Anne-Marie, with 'FRIENDS', and now, he's teased what is sure to be another fantastic release.
Taking to Instagram, the DJ posted a short video captioned with, 'HAPPIER ft. @bastilledan this Friday 😄 pre-save link in bio.' The video shows helium balloons with Marshmello's recognisable logo floating into the air, whilst a short clip of the song plays.
This short tease follows an earlier tweet from British band Bastille, who explained that they had written a song called 'Happier' last year and thought it would be a great collaboration.

Bastille later confirmed that the new single would be released THIS Friday (17th August) saying, 'It’s always good to step into somebody else’s world for a minute and we’re excited for the track to finally be out on Friday.'
Although this collaboration might seem as a surprise to many, some eagle-eyed Marshmello fans might have noticed that back in March this year the DJ tweeted, 'playing phone tag with @bastilledan', causing many to think there might be a collab in the works.
Whilst Marshmello has been in the UK charts a lot this year, it has been a while since we've heard any new music from Bastille. Bastille formed in 2010 and had their big breakthrough with their Number 2 single 'Pompeii' in 2013, followed by 'Of The Night' later that year. Their last album, 'Wild World' was released in 2016.
