Making the ‘WTF’ video wasn’t pretty for Missy Elliot
Missy Elliot has revealed she bleed while filming the video for 'WTF'.
Last week Missy Elliott released her first music video in seven years. Joined by Pharrell Williams the video for Missy’s track ‘WTF’ (Where They From) is shot in New York and features Missy dancing round the city. But it turns out making the video wasn’t pretty! As Missy has revealed she bleed during filming!
Speaking to ID magazine Missy said: “We all came up with the glass outfit, which was the hardest thing to wear because it was really cut up glass so I was bleeding and everything!"she said. "I was so agitated but I had to get it done. I was bloody and bloodied. There was blood everywhere!"
In the interview Missy also revealed it was Pharrell who encouraged her to make a return to music.
