EXCLUSIVE: Lizzo wants to work with Ariana Grande on new material 👑
PLEASE let this happen 🙏
Queen Lizzo is performing at the BRIT Awards 2020 tonight (18th Feb), so of course we just HAD to catch up with her whilst she's in the UK ahead of the ceremony. The 'Juice' superstar is set to perform in a line-up that includes Lewis Capaldi, Stormzy, Billie Eilish and many more - and we cannot WAIT.
Lizzo gave us a few minutes of her time whilst she was in the back of a taxi this morning, and chatted to KISS Breakfast with Tom & Daisy about all things BRITs...
Obviously, we love nothing more than a collaboration between two huge artists, so we asked Lizzo which of her rivals in her BRITs category of International Female Solo Artist she'd love to work with.
Just to refresh your memory, Lizzo is up against Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Camila Cabello, and Lana Del Rey - but Lizzo told us she'd love to work with Ariana again, after they made the 'Good As Hell' remix together!
She said, "I've worked with Ariana Grande on the 'Good As Hell' remix, and she's one of my literal favourite people, so I would probably work with her again and write a new song."
Let's make this happen people!! 🙌
We also asked Lizzo about who is her stand-out artist from the last year - and in true Lizzo style, she backed herself! "Besides myself? Me! I've done so well! You know what's crazy? I've really enjoyed being a part of this rise of new artists with Lil Nas X and Billie Eilish.
"All three of us are so completely different, but we also had such an incredible, similar type of year and I think that's really special that we're these atypical, incredible individuals that are all doing big things. So that's been inspiring to be a part of."
We could all learn a thing or two from Lizzo!
