Little Mix confirm they've CANCELLED 'The Summer 2020 Tour'

The band have made the tough decision

Little Mix, one of the world's favourite girl bands, were due to go on tour again this year with their 'The Summer 2020 Tour', but Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall have now confirmed they've made the decision to CANCEL the tour due to the current Coronavirus pandemic.

Posting the update to fans on social media, Little Mix wrote, 'We are so sad to announce that following the latest government advice, we have to cancel our upcoming UK Summer Tour. The health and safety of all our fans and crew is always our number one priority. Please look out for an email from your ticketing agent shortly. Please only contact them if you have not received an email by May 5th.

'Please stay safe and stay home, lots of love, the girls x'. (sic)

The girls were due to take their biggest hits on the road this summer for a huge tour, stopping off at stadiums up and down the country to bring their biggest hits from the past eight years to every corner of the UK.

The girls were also due to be joined by the winner of their brand new TV talent show; The Search, which has also been postponed due to Coronavirus.

Speaking about their 2020 tour before news of cancellation, Little Mix said, "Performing live is our favourite thing to do as a band, we love it. Our last Summer tour in 2018 was one of our favourites ever, so we can’t wait for some more brilliant outdoor shows next year. We want everyone to come party with us in the sunshine."

Since winning The X Factor back in 2011, Little Mix have embarked on six massive tours to date, including 'DNA Tour', 'The Get Weird Tour', 'The Glory Days Tour', 'Salute Tour', and most recently, 'LM5: The Tour'.
