Last night, this year's MOBO Awards took place in Leeds and saw Krept & Konan, Drake, Ella Eyre and Fuse ODG all take home gongs.
Hosted at the Leeds Arena, London rappers Krept & Konan won big and bagged awards for Best Hip-Hop Act and Best Album (for their debut LP, The Long Way Home). The only other act to win more than one award was grime artist Stormzy. He was victorious in both the Best Male Act and Best Grime Act category.
Other winners last night included Drake, who won Best International Album for If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late; Fuse ODG, who won Best African Act; and Ella Eyre, who was awarded Best Female Act.
Two Paving The Way awards were given to Grime MC Wiley and comedian/musician/philanthropist Sir Lenny Henry, respectively. Lenny Henry's incredible acceptance speech went viral on Twitter.
