Katy Perry and Taylor Swift to perform together at the MTV VMAs?
We didn't see this coming...
It’s no secret that there’s some serious bad blood between Katy Perry and Taylor Swift.
The pop princess’ feud dates back to 2012 when they fell out over backing dancers. Since then the pair have been throwing subtle (and not so subtle shade) at each other in interviews and song lyrics e.g Taylor’s Bad Blood and Katy’s recent hit Swish Swish.
However, when Katy appeared on Carpool Karaoke with James Corden this year she hinted she was ready to make amends. Telling Corden: “I ready for that BS to be done... I think women together not divided will heal the world.’
It looks like Tay-Tay is ready to put the beef behind her too, as reports are emerging that the pair are set to perform together at this year’s MTV VMA’s. Katy is hosting this year’s award ceremony later this month. And Taylor has used the award show to settle feuds in the past. She famously presented Kanye West an award in 2015 after he’d interrupted her acceptance speech at the 2009 event for Best Video.
