Kanye West leaps into a lake during Armenian performance
The rapper jumped into Swan Lake in the city and got mobbed by fans.
Kanye West leapt into a lake in Armenia during a surprise performance and chaos ensued. West accompanied his wife, Kim Kardashian, on a high-profile trip to connect with her family's heritage and decided to do a free concert in Yerevan on their last night there. Held at Swan Lake in the city, Kanye's performance featured some of his classics such as Stronger, Jesus Walks, All of the Lights and Good Life. It was during Good Life that West jumped into the shallow lake and pretty much got mobbed by fans.
Pretty soon after, authorities shut the whole thing down.
The couple's visit to Armenia coincided with the 100th anniversary of the Armenian genocide
