Ellie Goulding says new single On My Mind is 'from the heart'.

This morning, KISS Breakfast premiered the brand new single from Ellie Goulding, ‘On My Mind’.
Speaking about the song, to Rickie, Melvin & Charlie, Ellie said it was good to go back to writing so honestly from the heart.
“I think, when I used to write songs, it would just be like, just thoughts coming out…I feel like I’ve kind of filtered it out a little bit now, but I used to write just really honestly from the heart, so this is just another example of that”.
Confirming the On My Mind is the first official single from her new album, Ellie also told us that there wouldn’t be any collaborations this time around.
“I just wanted this album to be about me, I’m selfish so…just me me me” she explained laughing.
With X Factor all over our screens at the moment, Ellie also told us she’d quite like to b a judge for the day, saying that if someone was terrible though, you shouldn’t give them false hope.
“I wouldn’t be mean about it, I’m not really a naturally mean person, so I wouldn’t be like ‘you’re s**t mate!”
