Ed Sheeran has hinted that he could be testing out a new style for his fourth album. The singer is already teasing a potential follow-up to last year's huge record breaking project 'Divide'.

He said: ''I'm just excited for the next album now."

''It's mad now you can kind of get away with doing what you want musically.'' When asked what type of album he would go for, he mentioned:

''If I was gonna do a random one I'd do traditional folk songs.

He's left a lot to the imagination but also said we'd be waiting "probably like, 10 years".

You would think he'd take a rest after a busy 2017. Sheeran dominated the charts all year round and even starred in The Simpsons only six days ago.

In between it all he recently revealed he wrote a James Bond theme three years ago ''just in case''. Could 2018 be a bigger year for Ed than we expected?

Either way, we can't wait for #ES4 whenever it comes!
