Ed Sheeran admits his ambition for music is 'dwindling'
Oh no!!
The 'Shape of You' hitmaker has admitted that his ambition is lessening. Ed has just announced his engagement to long-term girlfriend Cherry Seaborn and recently revealed he plans to step away from the music scene when they start a family.
In a recent interview Sheeran said: ''My ambition is going to go to zero as soon as I have kids. I am going to be like, 'I do not care anymore as I have another life to take care of.' It is totally understandable because you have children and your ambition shifts to be like, 'I want to be a good father."
After dominating the charts and hit after hit he says his ambition is lessening already saying:
"To be honest my ambition is dwindling a little bit because I have achieved far more than I thought I ever would. I do not know what to do next. I feel like when you play a stadium you cannot play any bigger than that because what do you do? Sell 15 million albums? What do you do on your next album?''
We understand Ed, it's hard being super successful.
However, Ed still has a few achievements he wants to tick off his bucket lists, like a song for James Bond or a Disney film.
Ed confessed: ''That's one thing I'm eternally jealous of Elton for. Despite all the other accolades and all the other songs, he wrote 'The Lion King'. That's the coolest thing. And 'Can You Feel The Love Tonight' is a gem.''
That would be amazing!
